April Lyon

April Lyon has been the Elementary Children’s Pastor at the Clay Center Covenant Church for six years.  She has an Associate of Science degree from Cloud County Community College.  April has a passion for teaching children and adults and helping both grow in their relationship with Jesus.  She has an especially tender heart for single mothers and coordinates special ministries to help them with life’s struggles.  Married for twelve years she has been blessed with three beautiful children.  April loves to read, enjoys working on math problems, and putting together jigsaw puzzles when time allows.
